Day 1: Arrival in Amritsar

Morning: Arrive in Amritsar. Check into your hotel. Afternoon: Visit the Golden Temple, the holiest Sikh shrine. Explore the temple complex and participate in the langar (community kitchen). Evening: Attend the Wagah Border ceremony, which is about 30 km from Amritsar. Experience the flag-lowering ceremony between India and Pakistan. Night: Return to Amritsar. Enjoy dinner and relax at your hotel.

Day 2: Amritsar Sightseeing

Morning: Visit Jallianwala Bagh, a historical garden memorializing the 1919 massacre. Afternoon: Explore the Partition Museum and gain insights into the 1947 Partition of India. Evening: Stroll through the local markets and try famous Amritsari cuisine such as Amritsari kulcha and lassi. Night: Overnight in Amritsar.

Day 3: Amritsar to Katra

Morning: Depart for Katra (approx. 6-7 hours drive). Enjoy scenic views along the way. Afternoon: Arrive in Katra and check into your hotel. Evening: Relax and prepare for the trek to Vaishno Devi. Night: Overnight in Katra.

Day 4: Vaishno Devi Pilgrimage

Early Morning: Start your trek to Vaishno Devi shrine (14 km). You can also opt for a helicopter ride or pony/doli services. Afternoon: Reach the shrine, offer your prayers, and spend some time in the holy atmosphere. Evening: Descend back to Katra. Night: Overnight in Katra. Rest after a long day.

Day 5: Katra to Srinagar

Morning: Check out from the hotel and drive to Srinagar (approx. 8-9 hours drive). Afternoon: Arrive in Srinagar and check into your houseboat or hotel. Evening: Enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake and witness the beautiful sunset. Night: Overnight in Srinagar.

Day 6: Srinagar Sightseeing
