Day 1: Arrival in Amritsar

Arrive in Amritsar and check into your hotel. Visit the iconic Golden Temple, a spiritual and cultural landmark. Explore the historic Jallianwala Bagh, commemorating the tragic massacre of 1919. Experience the patriotic fervor at the Wagah Border ceremony in the evening.

Day 2: Amritsar to Srinagar

Depart from Amritsar to Srinagar (approx. 400 km, 8-9 hours drive). Arrive in Srinagar and check into your hotel or houseboat. Spend the evening leisurely exploring the local markets and sampling Kashmiri cuisine.

Day 3: Srinagar Sightseeing

Enjoy a Shikara ride on the serene Dal Lake, admiring the floating gardens and houseboats. Visit the enchanting Mughal Gardens: Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. Explore the old city and shop for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and souvenirs.

Day 4: Day Trip to Gulmarg

Depart for Gulmarg, a picturesque hill station (approx. 50 km, 1.5 hours drive). Take the Gondola ride to Kongdoori and Apharwat Peak for panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains. Enjoy leisurely walks, horse riding, or skiing in the meadows. Return to Srinagar in the evening.

Day 5: Day Trip to Pahalgam

Depart for Pahalgam, known as the "Valley of Shepherds" (approx. 90 km, 2.5 hours drive). Visit the Betaab Valley, named after the Bollywood movie "Betaab," and enjoy the scenic beauty. Explore Aru Valley and Chandanwari, starting points for treks to Kolahoi Glacier and Amarnath Cave. Return to Srinagar in the evening.

Day 6: Srinagar to Amritsar Departure

Depart from Srinagar to Amritsar (approx. 400 km, 8-9 hours drive). Arrive in Amritsar and transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
